About Us The Bluegrass Fencers' Club is partnered with the High Street and Beamont YMCAs of Lexington. The High Street YMCA is particularly well suited to fencing. There is a wood-floored multipurpose room with a high ceiling that allows space for four to six strips. In addition to this room, YMCA members have the use of all amenities, including but not limited to: full-size basketball court, handball and racquetball courts, 1/20 mile indoor running/walking track, locker rooms, saunas, whirlpools, lap pools and nursery/child care. Membership rates are very reasonable and can be found by following the link on our Links page. Experienced fencers can meet and bout with other local fencers during open fencing times. Individual lessons with Maestro Khazbak can also be scheduled through the Bluegrass Fencers' Club. Call or email us to schedule a lesson.
